After Sochi 2014 Winter the sports world is talking mainly about one thing: who wins the award of the next Olympic Games in 2022? Many do wish Oslo, but Oslo is not sure if it still wants to. In the shadow of the much discussed capital town, however, the 500km north lying Trondheim has gradually grown into a similarly popular and professional winter sports organizer - and this with the full support of the community. No wonder that Trondheim has got his eye on possible Olympic Games in Oslo: 2021 will be held the Nordic Ski World Championships - and Trondheim has recently decided after numerous investments in the sporting infrastructure for a candidacy.

The 180,000 population city seems ready for her second major performance by the Nordic World Ski Championships 1997. This will show already this summer: the first time in a long time ski jumpers pilgrimage from around the world for summer training to Trondheim. Since the jump replaced their old plastic nubs of inrun track with new high quality porcelain knobs, living the previously untapped summer training in Trondheim again.

"One sees easily that quality will prevail. Quality, for which I can vouch personally. The hill in Trondheim now provides uniform driving conditions at the highest level. The athletes appreciate such professional conditions", explains Peter Riedel, head of Peter Riedel Sports Technology ltd., about the development in Norway. "Trondheim has my full support for their World Cup application. The commune has proven that she is standing behind this plan and the investment in sports facilities in recent years underlines just that Trondheim thinking ahead. I will support her application to the FIS Congress in Mexico in 2016 with all the powers!"

Trondheim and Peter Riedel Sports Technology - two actors who go into the future!
